Inner World:  

The World of Suzumushi is a vast oasis in the dead of night on what appears to be a summer month. The wind that blows is warm on the face but not uncomfortable and brings a sense of peace to the place. The center of the world is a large meadow of knee high green grass. This meadow covers roughly a mile from the center in a circular pattern. At the edge of the meadow is a endless forest, which will eventually have someone appear on the opposite side of where ever they entered. This loops the entire world, making it no more than a mile large, but infinite at the same time. A small stream of slow moving water drifts through the meadow effortlessly. The stream is shallow, barely covering ones feet with smooth black pebbles covering the floor of it.  Suzumushi can be found wondering the meadow, usually just taking in his surroundings and enjoying the peace the world provides.

Appearance: Suzumushi takes the form of an average, unassuming looking brown cricket caged in a small wooden cricket trap. A 6 foot tall white skinned mannequin that is hunched over to roughly 5 foot 5 inches tall. The mannequin is draped in long dark grey robes with a hood covering its head and is made of wood. The mannequin has no face and its left hand is fused with the cricket trap which Suzumushi truly resides in at the top so it looks as if he is holding it like a lantern. Suzumushi is known by his voice. The creature is able to speak in a voice that is low, soothing, and seems to resonate within the mind of the one who sees him outward. Suzumushi is able to control the mannequin and it is an extension of itself.

Personality:

Suzumushi is a being who is honorable and noble. Judging someone by their merit and potential rather than what is laid out before him. He never judges someone by appearances alone and will often take his time to get to know someone before making any decisions on them. Otherwise, Suzumushi is a rather straightforward, to the point, zanpakuto. Although he will wrap life lessons in terms of trials, he often says whats on his mind than hold it back. Like Kyroku though, he will not do so if the thought its rude or uncalled for. He believes stepping in ones shoes is the best way to teach and to fully understand someones predicament. A trait he expresses often when it comes to his abilities.

Unlike many zanpakuto, Suzumushi holds no true desire to fight. If he had it his way, there would be no need for his existence, as he believes weapons are a cause for war (which he detests). He does however insist his powers be used to protect the helpless and defend ones duties, if they must be used at all.  He trusts Kyroku however to use his powers wisely and without malice towards the one he uses them on. On a one on one conversation, Suzumushi talks about grand life lessons. The concepts behind good and evil, the purpose of life, how to find balance in a chaotic world, ect. The two can usually go on for hours about such topics, and on many occasions do. Kyroku devotes an hour of his night before retiring to talk to Suzumushi, which accepts the nice gesture as the being likes to talk. Many times, Suzumushi will but in on Kyroku's conversations and whisper a tiny bit of advice. Although he does so with good intentions, never doing it when its an awkward moment or the situation is too tense where his input would seem to interfere  

Soul Connection: Suzumushi shares Kyroku's willingness to resolve things in a peaceful and nonviolent way. The two each also have a willingness to teach and to learn; Suzumushi teaching Kyroku and Kyroku to teach those who wish to be a shinigami.

Sealed State--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Appearance:

In its sealed state, Suzumushi looks like a regular katana. The tsuba has a teardrop shape, with the base of the drop arcing over the top of the blade, and the point of the drop pointing below the cutting edge. A row of several tiny teardrop-shaped holes decorates the bottom of the curve, and a small ring, approximately 2" in diameter, dangles off the tip of the tear-drop. The ring itself plays a vital role in the activation of Kyroku's Shikai and Bankai. Its length is approximately 40 inches long with the blade length being 28 inches and the hilt being 12 inches long. Its scabbard is a sleek black and rests on Kyroku's left side.

Appearance: Suzumushi retains its sealed state appearance in Shikai.

Ability: The Root of Suzumushi's abilities lie in the ring located on the hilt of the blade. During shikai, this ring is constantly spinning and vibrating. As the blade makes contact with its opponent, the ring vibrates at a frequency only the opponent can hear. The sound produced by the vibration can be heard by the opponent as far as a mile away. This makes escaping the effects of it close to impossible. After the mile distance, the sound seems to stop entirely, not fading away gradually like a normal sound. The intensity of the vibration intensifies with each strike of the blade producing a specific sound at a Hz that causes specific effects on the body.

• First Stage- A annoying high-pitched resonating sound is heard at a noticeable level
  
• Second Stage- The initial sound is amplified causing headaches and migraines.
  
• Third Stage - Causes the eyes to convulse resulting in blurred vision.
  
• Fourth Stage- The sound is unbearable and the opponent becomes blinded by the increased convulsions of the eyes.
  
• Fifth Stage- Causes the victim to have difficulty breathing and moving due to the intensity of the sound produced.
  

The effects lasts for as long as the ring on Suzumushi vibrates and can be stopped if the ring on the blade is grabbed or until it slows down the vibrations and spinning. Each stage of vibrations lasts for 4 posts before lowering down to the previous stage.

Name: Konpeki Tattobu (Azure Standing Moth)
Description: Suzumushi produces a high-pitched tone over a 50 foot area, overloading the hearing of anyone in range.

• 1 Reiatsu level higher or more= Loud high pitched noise. Causes quick, heavy irritation. 1 post duration
  
• Same Reiatsu Level= The sound causes the opponent to collapse and grab their head in pain from the sound. This causes the opponent to be stunned for 1 post
  
• 1 Reiatsu level lower= The sound causes the opponent to collapse and grab their head in pain from the sound. This causes the opponent to be stunned for 2 post
  
• 2 Reiatsu levels lower or more= knocks the opponent unconscious for 10 posts.

Name:Benihiko (crimson flying locusts)
Description: Suzumushi vibrates momentarily and, after Kyroku moves the blade around him in a semi-circle, a trail appears, following the sword's path. The trail turns into hundreds of blades, which rain down on his opponents with the swing of his sword.

Name: Hisuisuwari Bitoru (Jade Sitting Beetle)
Description: Suzumushi 's ring vibrates quickly and loudly. The end of the hilt then collects a massive amount of sound pressure capable of crushing anything in its path into the ground. Kyroku releases this pressure by jabbing the end of the hilt into the body of the opponent. Upon contact, the pressure is released in a cone that will span a 5 foot radius over 10 yards with a massive force that will drive even the most poised of opponents into the ground.

Name: Goruden Yakudo Kamakiri (Golden Striding Mantis)
Description: Suzumushi's ring  begins vibrating over the course of 1 post during the activation of this technique. Afterwards, a massive concussion sound wave is fired from its tip. This is capable of sending opponents flying backward, knocking the wind from them as well as breaking bones if the technique is released within 5 yards of Kyroku. The Range of effect is 4 feet in diameter and capable of traveling over 25 yards.

Name: Aiboridansuhachi  (Ivory Dancing Bee)
Description: Suzumushi's ring vibrates as Kyroku arcs the sword over his head from side to side. 5 copies of Suzumushi hover in the air at regular intervals along the arc. These copies follow Kyroku and remain with their hilts pointing toward him straight up in the air.  As soon as the enemy makes a sound, wither it be so much as breathing, within a ten feet radius of Kyroku, one of the katanas will fire towards the sound created, bladed tip forward, at the speed of a Level 75 kido. These katanas will remain in whatever was struck for 1 post before disipating.

Name: Onikisu Nekoze Koganemushi (Onyx Hunched Scarab)
Description: Suzumushi's ring  vibrates in a much lower pitch than in previous techniques. Once activated, the entire blade vibrates to create a sound wave across its length. The wave is then hurled off of the blade in a slash of suzumushi, resulting in the sound wave being thrown. The wave is capable of bouncing off objects and can be controled with suzumushi by moving the blade in the direction of the wave. Each object it hits is capable of storing the wave and launching off of it again at once. This wave is capable of rendering flesh with its intense pressure and vibration.

Bankai-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Appearance:  : Suzumushi maintains its sealed state form of a regular katana, though without the small ring. Kyroku holds up his sword in his right hand, and places his left palm against the ring on his cross guard. The ring begins to spin as it releases spiritual energy. As it spins faster, the circle grows bigger and bigger until it's large enough to surround his body. The ring then splits into ten other glowing rings of similar size that encircle Kyroku. With a slash of his sword, the circles go flying outwards and form a circular perimeter over a large area. Once in position, the ten rings begin to generate a black void, which grows in size until it forms a large black dome, which is centered around Kyroku's body and anchored to the ground by the ten rings.

Ability:  The dome creates a vacuum that nullifies the senses of spiritual energy, sight, sound, and scent, what Kyroku calls Mumyō (無明, lit. "No Light", popularly known as "Avidya" and defined as "Ignorance (of Buddhist teachings)"). The only sense the victim retains is that of touch. Unlike with some Zanpakutō's, Suzumushi does not convert itself into the massive dome that it creates during Bankai. Instead, the dome serves as a separate extension of Suzumushi itself, allowing Kyroku to wield its sealed form as a weapon while inside the dome, but preventing him from using its abilities. The technique's main shortcoming is that anyone, not just Kyroku himself, touching Suzumushi's hilt is immune to the dome's effects, so anyone able to grab Suzumushi recovers their senses. The dome only exists as long as Kyroku wills it to, or if he happens to become seriously injured; in either circumstance, the dome shreds apart and dissipates
