Appearance:Niklaus' mekkakyu takes the form more traditional than his fellow new aged Quincy. Around his wrist resides a simple dull silver chain; the links that comprise the entirety of it are actually quite thick. On either side of his wrist dangle twin pentacles, which too are a dull silver of lackluster proportions. The first of these pentacles, the one that resides on the inside of his arm, is his own; the one he inherited from his father upon the completion of his Quincy Training. The second one appears much older and resides on the outside portion of the chain. This one was given to him by his Mentor and best friend, along with his last words, ' Teach them.. '

Niklaus' bow is exactly that; a large bow comprised entirely of reishi around his wrist. From tip to tip it measures a total of five and a half feet long. Each end is significantly thicker than the entire shaft; it tapers down the closer you get to the core. However an oddity about Niklaus' bow is that it has an identical one on opposite side of his wrist. This allows the male to fire his arrows at an array of angles, which offers him a cadre of tactical opprotunitie

Ability: Known as the Bow of Severing, Niklaus' power is symbolic for his hatred of all things Spiritual, Niklaus' bow has the unique ability of cutting others off from their powers; mainly denying Zanpakutou wielders access to the dormant power within their blades. More so than the bow, his arrows carry with them a sort of severing effect. Upon contact with any being that wields a Zanpakutou, the arrows hold true to their name. This is done via the reflection of Niklaus' soul; his hatred for all things Spiritual given physical form.

Description:The most basic and purest abilities of Niklaus' bow is its ability to deny Zanpakutou users access to their Release powers. Simply by successfully landing a shot from his bow, Niklaus is able to prevent a Zanpakutou wielder from releasing. This power can only prevent on opponent from entering the first stage of Release, i.e. Shikai/Ressureccion.Visually, the opponent witnesses a pair of spectral chains encasing their Zanpakutou that constricts and restricts their access to first release. An opponent cannot be affected by this ability for more than 1 rounds per rank Niklaus possesses in Weapon Skill. The opponent may spend an entire round, one full post, doing nothing other than breaking the chains from their Zanpakutou. An opponent that does this cannot be affected by this power again for the duration of the thread.

Description: Niklaus looses a thousand arrow barrage over a large radius, each applying the effects of his bows primary power. Due to the high count of arrows, an opponent finds it incredibly difficult to dodge the assault and may only successfully do so if their HSM is at least one (1) rank higher than Niklaus' Weapon Skill. Even when using Utsusemi/Secuelas/Donner/True Light/Trugbild in their Incomplete forms, the opponent is not guaranteed to avoid the attack.

Name:Crippling Strike
Description: Niklaus looses an extremely accurate shot at his opponent; aimed primarily at their knee or ankle. The purpose of this technique is to limit one's ability to dodge, thus while the attack lacks significant power to truly damage on enemy, it's sheer accuracy and speed make it in itself nigh invisible to the naked eye.
